BIOGRAPHY
Beginning with a passionate love affair with her vinyl collection of jazz, soul & funk and growing up on early early 90’s hiphop and roots reggae, Lady Bluesabelle began DJing in 1997.
She started spinning records in Amsterdam’s hidden cocktail bars, bluesabelle paved a career in music which lead to event directing and touring her favourite artists in Australia and Asia.
Afrobeat, disco, drum&bass, soulful deep house, Nu jazz, neo soul, dub, Latin, heavy bossa, French manouche, burlesque, Caribbean, jungle, Balkan, gypsy lounge and smooth liquid trip hop rollers - music styles from a myriad of eras are genres are what form her seductive time-travelling sets.
Lady Bluesabelle founded Red Karpet Music in Australia, 2001 - a booking agency for local and interstate talent and a touring company, creating platforms for launching local bands and DJ’s. As the Entertainment Director and resident DJ for Sofitel Hotels in Australasia and the Katarzyna Group, she has a fierce passion for quality music. Bluesabelle has facilitated hundreds of events and held respected residencies throughout the past 2 decades. Preserving the roots of music and supporting talented projects and artists with a refined, specific style. She crafts and elevates atmospheres with heartfelt dedication and genuine passion.

She makes music dreams a reality while connecting and supporting the artist community.
In Europe, Bluesabelle has held residencies in Barcelona, London and NYC where she was the host DJ for the Booklyn International Film Festival 2007 and co-hosted ‘The Beat Lounge’ radio show in Amsterdam on Kink FM. Bluesabelle founded ‘Moanin’ at the Press Club in 2001 in her hometown of Brisbane where she grew and supported the jazz (Latin and funk) events and community with an epic 10 year weekly residency, launching bands and international DJ's while spinning quality vinyl with the finest jazz and world music artists available.
Bluesabelle has organised and performed for a plethora of elite events - club openings, festivals, boat parties, corporate events locally and internationally. Tour managing international acts, creating theme nights, brand activations and elegantly pushing event boundaries, adding value and indulgence wherever possible. She was crowned the ‘Nova Lounge Queen’ in 2003 in Manila and showcased rare groove vinyl as a female DJ in Goa, India in 2005.
Spinning world groove, some invitations included airing a special vinyl set for the radio launch of Ministry of Sound's Sunday Lounge sessions in 2008 and guesting at Brighton's premier radio show The Jazz Rooms and . Bluesabelle has also held residencies in Phnom Penh's finest venues and throughout Saigon and Bangkok's rooftop bars for years throughout 2013 - 2018.
Wherever she stands - she’s a selector, evolving with the soundscapes of time. Bluesabelle is motivated by bringing joy through the music of new and old, always finding new ways for atmospheric expression and refinement,creating timeless and unforgettable nights of soulful sexiness.
