With a vinyl collection of jazz, soul & funk and raised in a passionate love affair with early 90’s hiphop and roots reggae, Lady Bluesabelle began DJing in 1997.
Spinning records in Amsterdam’s favourite cocktail bars was a hobby until Lady Bluesabelle was welcomed as a selector. She founded a career in music which lead to event directing and touring artists around the world.
Nu jazz, neo soul, funk, dub reggae, Latin salsa, heavy bossa, Afrobeat, French manouche, burlesque, Caribbean, soulful deep house, jungle, drum&bass, Balkan, gypsy lounge and smooth liquid rollers are all genres which form her seductive time-travelling sets.
Lady Bluesabelle founded Red Karpet Music in Australia, a company touring many of her favourite artists whilst creating platforms for launching local bands and DJ’s. As the Entertainment Director and resident DJ for Sofitel Hotels in Australasia and the Katarzyna Group, she has a fierce passion for quality music. Bluesabelle has facilitated hundreds of events and held many enduring and respected residencies throughout the past 2 decades. Preserving the roots of music and supporting talented performers through a refined style. She enhances and creates atmosphere with dedicated, loving passion.

In Europe, Bluesabelle co-hosted ‘The Beat Lounge’ radio show for 3 years in Amsterdam on Kink FM and has held residencies in Barcelona and NYC where she was the host DJ for the Booklyn International Film Festival in 2007. Bluesabelle founded ‘Moanin’ at the Press Club in 2001 in her hometown of Brisbane. She grew and influenced the jazz community over an epic 10 year weekly residency, launching bands and international DJ's whilst spinning quality vinyl with the finest jazz and world music artists available.
Bluesabelle has organised and performed for a plethora of club openings, festivals, corporate events and weddings locally and internationally. Tour managing international acts, creating theme nights, brand activations and elegantly pushing event boundaries whilst adding value and indulgence wherever possible. She was crowned the ‘Nova Lounge Queen’ in 2003 in Manila and pioneered as one of the first female vinyl DJ’s in Goa, India.
Spinning nu jazz and world groove includes airing a heavy vinyl set at London’s Ministry of Sound for their Sunday lounge radio launch in 2008 and guesting at Brighton's premier radio show the 'Jazz Rooms’. Bluesabelle's held residencies in Phnom Penh's finest venues and throughout Saigon and Bangkok's rooftop bars for years between 2013 - 2018.
No matter where she lands she’s a selector, ever evolving with the times. Bluesabelle is inspired and brings joy through the music of new and old. Setting new standards for atmospheric refinement at every opportunity and creating timeless and unforgettable nights of soulful sexiness.
